How much does it cost for a listing on penpals.net?
Its free to add your listing to our site you can even upload photos to your profile and the photo gallery. You can also search other listings and receive messages from full members. Free members can also send greetings to other members (Hearts, Smiley or Red Rose) & use the message boards. Only full members can write to other members using our internal private message sytem.

How much does it cost to be a full member of penpals.net?

Our full Membership Plan is just 2 bucks ! yes just 2 dollars, or 2 £ if you live in the UK or 2 euro if you live in the rest of Europe

    • Why do we charge for full memebership? If you have been to the free sites you will see they are just full of spam. So we have a small charge to help keep spam out of our website and help you have a better expirence. Also it helps pay for the hosting costs of running the website.

How will I send and receive messages?
Full members can click on a members profile and send that member a private message using our online system. The system keeps everyone’s email private and hidden but will display your name and id number.

You will also receive any private greetings (Hearts, Smiley or Red Rose) via our online private greetings system. The system keeps everyone’s email private and hidden but will display your name and id number.

How many members can I contact each month?
Full members can contact up to 100 new members each month. 

Privacy how do I stop messages from a particular member?
We respect members privacy, we have a “decline contact system” Simply click on the decline contact link in any message, this will stop any more messages from this particular member.

How do I upload photos?
Firstly prepare any suitable photos you have by making them a reasonable size before you try to upload them. Think credit card size as a guide.

The penpals.net system will cope with most reasonable size photos but please don't upload tiny photos or huge photos, you must resize them, most photo software has a resize facility, so look at the size of a credit card as a guide and try to get your photos near to that size or approx 3 inch by 2 inch.

Use the browse button to find your suitable photo on your computer and the click the submit button and then wait a couple of minutes until the photo has uploaded please be patient.

How many photos can I upload ?
You can upload two photographs of yourself on your personal profile which will also display on the dating photo gallery.

When will my photos be shown on the penpals.net website ?
Once you have successfully uploaded a photo of yourself on your own profile they should show up right away if you reload your browser.

Photos will also show on the photo gallery any inappropriate photos will be deleted.

What format and file size should my photos be ?
Please only upload jpeg (.jpg) or gif (.gif) photos as these are suitable for display on websites, if your photos are in any other format you need to use photo software to convert them into either a .jpg or a .gif before uploading them and don't forget to make the a reasonable size when you convert them ie approx credit card size.

Please make sure your photos are a maximum of 100k, to check this then right-click it with your mouse and select 'Properties'. You will be shown the properties of your image about half way down it will tell you the file size. If your image is bigger than 100k then please reduce it using photo software before uploading.

How do I remove my listing from penpals.net?
Simply go to your profile control panel and at the bottom left of the main account control page is a link "Delete Account". click on this link and follow the instructions. Your listing will be removed, but we will miss you!.

How do I report misuse of the penpals.net website ?
If you want to complain about anything you have seen on our site or if you see any offensive or inappropriate material on this website please contact us right away using the contact us form, if we find anything that is inappropriate or potentially offensive we will delete it as soon as possible and warn the member who posted the offending item.

People who continually post offensive or in appropriate items on our site can have their account suspended or even deleted.
